We focus on custom residential architecture—everything from interior remodels and additions to full-home transformations and new construction. Most of our clients are looking to reimagine their homes in thoughtful, creative ways.

We guide clients through a phased process that starts with understanding your goals and vision (Discovery), followed by conceptual design (Feasibility Design), then interior design, permit drawings, and construction documentation. (Detailed design) It is a very personal experience for our clients that involves our creativity combined with their collabration.

Fees vary based on project scope and complexity. We typically work on a fixed-fee or hourly basis, and we will provide a proposal after an initial conversation and review of your goals.

As early as possible. Engaging an architect at the beginning helps avoid costly surprises later, ensures your vision is well thought out, and gives the whole team a clear plan to follow.

David Pollard Architect is a residential architecture studio based in Cary, NC, specializing in custom homes, additions, and transformative remodels. Every project is guided by the belief that great design begins with listening coupled with our experience. We focus on understanding how our clients live, and translating that into spaces that are both beautiful and deeply functional.
Led by David P. Pollard, AIA, our team brings decades of experience designing and delivering thoughtful, high-performance homes. David is a licensed Architect in both North Carolina and Illinois and current President of NARI Greater Chicago, with a background in design-build leadership and a commitment to client-centered design. From feasibility studies to permit-ready drawings and builder collaboration, we provide clarity, creativity, and care at every step.
